With the Union Jack flag as a backdrop, Attraction formed the likenesses of Winston Churchill and The Queen, as well as part of the phrase ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’.

As the winners, Attraction will receive £250,000 and will perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance in November.

Viewers on Twitter were pleased for Attraction winning the show, with one user commenting: ‘Obviously Britain hasn’t Got Talent so thanks Hungary for lending us some of yours.’

However Simon Cowell led the judges in universally praising the act for their efforts.

‘It was a bit of a surprise,’ he said of their win, ‘But it just shows that this country welcomes people from all over the world. I am really, really happy for them.’

Amanda Holden added: ‘I think whatever language you speak, you completely understand their story, and I think that’s the bottom line.’

The voting percentages released later in the evening showed that Attraction were clear winners with 27 per cent of the vote, ahead of Jack Carroll with 20.1 per cent.

Richard and Adam won 15.4 per cent of the vote, while ventriloquist Steve Hewlett finished fourth with 12 per cent.

The Luminites, with 6.8 per cent of the votes, completed the top five.
